SHALOM MINDFULNESS ENCOUNTER WORKSHOP
Living in Shalom
One Renewed thought at a time
From the Mud and Mire…
to Solid Ground
“He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
He set my feet on a rock and
gave me a firm place to stand.”
You're there in the mud.
Tired.
Trying to pull yourself out, to keep going. and to make sense of everything you're feeling.
And then…
Jesus reaches down.
Not with condemnation or disappointment.
BUT with love.
His hand is extended toward you.
“Come.”
And you finally stop struggling to get yourself out.
You reach for Him, place your hand in His, and He lifts you...
Slowly.
Gently.
He pulls you out.

Maybe you've been there.
Maybe you are there right now.
Not necessarily because your life looks terrible from the outside.
Maybe everyone thinks you're doing just fine.
But inside…
you're tired.
Your mind won't stop.
You're carrying things you haven't known how to release.
Old thoughts.
Old beliefs.
Old ways of seeing yourself.
And sometimes you don't even realize they're there.

You just know…
something feels stuck.
And maybe you know God has more for you.
Maybe there is something He has placed on your heart.
A calling.
A dream.
A desire you can't seem to shake.
But you find yourself wondering:
“Lord, how do I get from where I am to where You're calling me?”
As someone who knows what it feels like to be the girl in the corner and stuck in the mud and mire.
Who has experienced deep loss and heartbreak, feeling stuck.
Carrying too much and feel unseen.
Pushing because stopping felt impossible.
And to wonder how one could love God and still feel so lost inside.
My journey didn't change because I suddenly had all the answers.
It changed when I began learning how to pause.
When I became aware of what was happening inside of me.

Bringing my thoughts, emotions, and pain into the presence of God.
Making room to hear Him speak the one word that changed the direction of my life:
MINDFULNESS
That journey led me deeper into God's presence.
He gave me a path to walk down,
And eventually, deeper into His Shalom.
Now I want to create a space for you to encounter Him too.
Not so I can tell you exactly what your journey should look like.
But so I can walk beside you for a moment…
and help you create space to meet with the
One who knows exactly what you need.

For so long, you've been trying to
push your way through....
Grief
Overwhelm
Fear
Pain
Responsibilities
But what if healing doesn't begin by pushing more?
What if it begins when you finally stop, return…and become still enough to notice that God is already with you?
This is what the Almighty Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says:
You can be saved by returning to me.
You can have rest.
You can be strong by being quiet
and by trusting me.
Isaiah 30:15
To breathe.
Stop and pause.
Begin to notice what is happening inside of you.
Bring your thoughts, emotions, pain, questions,
and overwhelm into the presence of God.
Feel the Lord wrap you with His healing love.
Discover that you don't have to carry everything alone.
Imagine What Can Change
Imagine stopping in the middle of overwhelm and realizing:
I don't have to react right now.
Being able to feel and release your emotions instead of burying them.
Aligning the thoughts stealing your peace with the light of God's truth.
Releasing your grip and trusting Him with all that you are carrying.
Hearing His voice above the noise.
Being able to sit with God even in the midst of chaos.
Breathing deeper.
Living with more peace.
Remembering who you are in Him.
This is the journey toward Shalom.
Not a perfect life or one without pain.
But learning to pause, return, and rest in the presence of God.
Again, and again!

This is more than sitting quietly and trying to change your thinking.
This is a Christ-centered, Holy Spirit lead encounter into the presence of God.
During our time together, you will learn and experience a faith-filled mindfulness practice designed to help you:
PAUSE
Slow down long enough to step out of the constant
cycle of striving and reacting.
NOTICE
Become aware of what is happening in your thoughts,
body, emotions, and spirit.
LISTEN
Create space to become present with God and pay
attention to what He may be revealing to you.
RELEASE
Begin letting go of the thoughts, burdens, and things you've been gripping so tightly.

RECEIVE
Make room to receive God's truth, peace, love, and presence.
RESPOND
Learn how to carry what God is showing you into your everyday life.
EXPERIENCE
This is where your faith becomes felt.
Shalom isn’t just “peace” as the world defines it.
It’s wholeness. Alignment. Completeness in God,
nothing missing, nothing broken, nothing lacking.
You simply come as you are.
